DESCRIPTION:Takulirit Editor\nSeptember 12th Deadline\nThe Nunavut Teachers’ Association (NTA) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented individual to serve as our Newsletter Editor. This position plays a key role in sharing news, updates, and stories with our membership across Nunavut.\nResponsibilities:\n\nPlan, write, edit, and coordinate the layout of the NTA newsletter.\nSource and incorporate articles, photographs, and announcements from members, committees, and partners.\nEnsure the newsletter reflects NTA’s mission, priorities, and professional tone.\nCollaborate with NTA staff and Central Executive to meet publication deadlines.\nMaintain a consistent visual style and high editorial standards.\n\nQualifications:\n\nStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.\nExperience with newsletter production (digital and/or print).\nProficiency with basic layout and design software or online publishing platforms.\nAbility to meet deadlines and work independently.\nKnowledge of NTA, education in Nunavut, and the interests of our membership is an asset.\n\nTerm of Appointment:\nThe successful applicant will be appointed for a one-year term.
