President’s Message (March 2015)
It’s been a busy winter at the NTA office. In addition to our regular day-to-day business, we hosted the 2015 Pilimmaksarniq Qikiqtani Teachers’ Conference and hosted the Council of Atlantic Provinces Teachers’ Organizations (CAPTO) at the NTA Office.
NTA Strategic Plan 2014 – 2015
I am pleased to present you with our first formal Strategic Plan. A Strategic Plan is essential in order for all of us to have a clear understanding of what the role of the NTA is and what our members can expect from our Association. This Plan was developed with extensive input from the NTA membership and ratified at the Annual Meeting of Central Council in May 2014. Over the next year, again with extensive input from the membership, we hope to have an NTA Mission Statement to present to Central Council for consideration to include with the Plan.
